all work and no play pisses me the fuck off

It sucks that sales takes up so much of my free time. I really wish I could switch back to ops, even if I do start figuring out sales and making more money than I am now/then, I would take the pay cut just to have normal hours and weekends off. Also sales is just a whole lot more work than I really want to do for the money. Right now, I'm not sure it'll be worth the commission check next month; that is, if I receive one.
In other news, I went to lunch with this cute girl from my theory class on Friday. We just went to Wendy's, because I had to go to work, but it was fun anyways. Her brother also asked me to play bass in their band, so that would be cool. Maybe something will happen with her, that would be nice.
I also figured out what my next music related purchase will be, a new amp. I'm split between a Mesa Boogie Walkabout combo with an extension cab, if more sound is needed (approx. $720.00+300-400.00) and a Gallien Krueger 1001RB-II/Ampeg SVT 6x10 stack(approx. $1100.00). I'm kind of leaning towards the GK as of now, but that'll probably change 20 or 30 times in the next month or so. Also, I need to stop buying basses, next paycheck I'm picking up a used Warwick Streamer STD for a really good price, oh well, the amp can wait until I actually need it for a gig type situation.
